UPDATE Issues resolved. The windows logon ui seemed to negate any work done by antivirus programs. I simply renamed the file to exold from exe and haven't had a problem since. Bad image errors resolved by paying attention to the name & location of the dll file. I went to my other xp pc and searched for that file and copied it from the exact folder referenced in the error since there were two copies of that file on the pc in different folders. Went back to the problem computer and first copied the referenced dll file and saved it to another hard drive just in case I really messed things up. Then I inserted my flash that contained the dll file from my other PC and copied and pasted it to the folder it was supposed to be in. I don't have those Bad Image errors anymore. Below is what I first posted before resolving the issues: It looks like I have a virus.. Things haven't looked the same since March 31, 2009. I get a series of bad image errors. Some programs work and some don't. Regardless of the program, I get a bad image error box referencing the applicatoin or DLL c;|windows|system32\sensapi.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your diskette. I have found some Trojans when running Super AntiSpyware, but I receive a windows logon ui error or the screen will go Blue (NOT A BLUE SCREEN of DEATH) and the only option is to power off. Any attempt to download patches from Microsof windows update is negated by the inability to Install Active X. I have run ...

winlogon.exe is not a fucking virus its the driver that lets you log in your a dumb ass faggot!

and backup your files

need to get a granada and watch the action
@lanamal ROFL LMAO XD
Wow you certainly had a lot of icons on your desktop! My answer would be using system restore or a ‘true image’ file to go back before all those problems hit?
no , you need to logon to admin or safe boot in xp , but vista/7 users can get a take ownership command that can delete the virus like me i was having a virus , so i gone to the direction of the file , right-clicked and picked take ownership and deleted the file and it works
@ryanpaid1 It’s not a virus, It might have a virus in it, but winlogon.exe is not a virus dude.
the blue screen that you have is called the BLUE SCREAM OF DEATH
@ryanpaid1 i hawe winlogon.exe too X#
imposible
Try looking in taskmgr, regedit or add or remove program to see if something strange is there.
a virus messes up the entire day. Whom ever creats and sends them needs a kick in the gut. Sorry to see you got one.Geek squad might be helpful but there too expensive.
all i did is reinstall windows
@lanamal Lol… do it at you own fool.
You do not need an antivirus.
Regedit can be used, if the registry tools are disabled then look for the offline nt/xp registry editor boot cd.
HKLMMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogon , edit the Shell subkey, select all text and delete, enter Explorer.exe to restore it.
Some viruses also run in the Userinit subkey, select all, delete the value, and replace it with c:windowssystem32userinit.exe.
you will need to do a system restore to recover your pc or use malware bytes if you cant access malwarebytes youll need ROADKILL to access it.
@lanamal fuk u delting system 32 will make your pc paperweight
the the log on gui is messed up boot it to safe mode and run antimalware bytes and spybot that should clear the crap but then reininstall you os and run tuneup to clear the reg and anything else that usally works ( if you have a restore point try that first and run spybot and malwarebytes (full version) is needed
i have csrss.exe, winlogon.exe, and atieclxx.exe, whenever i try to end process it tells me access is denied i guess the’re viruses?
Wait, i have the ctrl alt delete thing, and i have winlogon exe thing, is it a virus??? because after i got my computer fixed, i had it already on.
