if you dont visit websites that you are unsure of and use vista or 7,
DON’T waste your money on antivirus
if you really want it, download microsoft security essentials, its free and made by the same guys who make windows, free AV is trustworthy (most of the time)
but microsft security essentcials does NOT slow down your computer, and ZERO false possitives, and when running in the background, you’ll never know its there, its got real time protection and everything best of all not a CENT with your new Windows just hop onto…

I would highly recommend Avast Anti-Virus. It is free, and it was voted to be one of the best free Anti-Virus programs.
