Is It Required to Enable the Antivirus Software to Run During the Startup?

My PC is booting very slow. Is it required to enable the antivirus software to run during the startup?

Yes, It is highly recommend to run an antivirus program on the startup but You can boost the computer performance by the following steps :–

1. Delete all the temporary files like “temp, %temp% and prefetch’ files from your computer.
2. Uninstall the unwanted programs installed on your computer.
3. Perform the “defrag” and “diskcleanup” utility over the specific time.
4. Remove all unwanted start-up items using the msconfig utility.
5. Scan your computer by using any updated antivirus program.
6. Install and download the “Antimalwarebytes” (freely available
7. Update “Antimalwarebytes”.
8. Scan your computer using the “Antimalwarebytes”.
9. Please follow the same procedure for “Superantispyware” as you done for “Antimalwarebytes”.

Yes it really should run at boot.

Some antivirus programs use more resources than others and will slow booting. If it’s a real problem, try a different program.

No it is not required, if you attach any USB with your pc during startup then you need this.
