I have a computer virus on my Inspiron Dell laptop. Pretty much this virus downloaded a program called "Security Tool" And put a total of 32 viruses on my laptop (that I know of). Everytime I start my laptop this program will come up and will not let me do anything else. This virus has disabled my firewall and antivirus protection. Does anyone have any ideas?

try going into safe mode and run the antivirus scan. this should work, keep pressing F8 at boot up until a screen comes up and then select safe mode. Your desktop will look really different (it’s normal) then just scan your PC as you normally would.

restart in safe mode (press f8 at the dell about once a sec untill you get to a list of options select SAFE MODE)once loaded
start >run msconfig click start up tab uncheck everything
restart
download install and update spybot s&d
reboot in safe mode
run spybot s&d repair everything
restart normally
reinstall your AV update then restart and run in safe mode fix everything.
do the above if you have things you have to keep but usually when it gets to this point even once you get rid of the virus the damage has been done so you will eventually with in a week or two have to reinstall windows completely so i usually just do that and save 4-8 hours of work
get in there and own it…. find out where they are and delete them by hand but don go deleting stuff ur not sure about…. 32 viruses is insane but i still beat your record on my inspiron (73) hehe i just went through and found them and deleted them…..
