Windows Vista Updates on Sunday 20 April 2008 - 03:15:04
Windows Vista Rocks, but there are buts and bugs

Please make sure your Windows Vista Updates and Windows Defender definition updates are made DAILY.

It's true, Vista is "better" secured than XP, but, Windows XP SP3 it's a LOT better than Vista, it boots faster, loads faster.

Anyhow, Microsoft said that Windows Vista has 10% more performance and it's faster than any other Windows before BUT I REALLY doubt that and I hope 99% of you are thinking the same.

The Service Pack updates to Vista are available here:

SP1: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsvista/bb738089.aspx (Available just for TechNet subscribers)

One advice: Stick to Windows XP SP3

Important: Keep your Windows XP updated!

The latest Windows XP Service Pack is 3. It is recommanded to use it.

If you won't have any Service pack installed, there are some links:

SP1: http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/4/f/..

SP2: http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/6/5/1..

SP3: http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/up..

Also, if you have a lower Windows version than Windows XP is STRONGLY recommanded you should install the Windows XP version no matter how powerful your pc is. (Remember that Windows XP can run on 256 ram and 600mhz processor as well)
